Rockstar Sets Second Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer for Late August

Rockstar Games has announced that an extended trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI will premiere on August 27, roughly a year after the game's first reveal. The original December 2023 trailer became YouTube's most-viewed video game trailer within 24 hours, according to both reports. A new promotional image shows protagonists Lucia and Jason together, though the reports differ slightly on what the upcoming trailer will emphasize—one states it will show both characters, while the other suggests it will highlight more of the game's world and cast broadly. The game remains officially scheduled for a 2025 release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
