GTA 6 Fan Identifies Real-World Building That Inspired Protagonists' Apartment

A fan has identified a real-world Miami building as the architectural inspiration for the apartment shared by Grand Theft Auto VI protagonists Jason and Lucia in the game's December 2023 debut trailer. The building had already been demolished by the time of discovery—some reports say in 2023, others simply say years prior—making the identification particularly challenging. Reports agree the find came from analyzing trailer footage and matching architectural details, though they differ on whether the location defies earlier fan speculation about which city housed the residence. One report notes the suspected building is not accessible to the public, while others emphasize the use of archival or historical photographs to identify the demolished structure.
